Your support makes all the difference.Wilko Johnson and Electric Wizard have joined the line-up for this year’s Sonisphere festival, organisers have confirmed.
The British singer and the doom metal band join already-confirmed acts including The Prodigy, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Deftones and Limp Bizkit.
Rap-rock outfit Dog Eat Dog have also been announced to join the line-up. The band will be playing their debut album All Boro Kings in its entirety at the festival in Knebworth Park, Hertfordshire.
They said: “We look forward to partying with everyone like it was 1994!”
Three rising British acts are also joining the bill, including Black Spiders, Brutality and Emp!re.
British metal powerhouse The Defiled will be returning to play at the festival again, having played at every Sonisphere Knebworth gig to date.
The Hype Theory, Raging Speedhorn and The Hell complete the newly announced acts, which will join Alice in Chains, Slayer, Frank Turner and Mastoon.
Early Bird Weekend tickets for Sonisphere are on sale now until April at the upfront payment of £50.
