World's biggest Christmas tree

An incredibly large Christmas tree owned by US country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill has gone viral online.

Fans responded in disbelief after McGraw shared images of the festive decoration online.

The tree, which stands at what looks like around 20ft tall, necessitates the use off a ladder to decorate its upper branches.

In the pictures, the singer-songwriter can be seen straddling the top of a ladder next to the tree.

“A: Santa's lead flying reindeer,” he wrote. “B: wife trying to get rid of me before Christmas.”

Fans were incredulous at the size of the tree, with many commenting that the immense height could pose a safety risk.

One wrote that the tree was “dangerous, but beyond gorgeous”.

"This is definitely not safe, but absolutely stunning tree," wrote another, while someone else said it was “giving me so much anxiety”.

Country star Brad Paisley joked: “Um, in like 2 minutes you need to do one of those ‘how it started/how it’s going’ posts from the ER.”

“If Faith upped the life insurance I'd double check that ladder before climbing Tim,” quipped someone else.
