Finally, after almost 22 years, The Stone Roses are set to debut new music. The band announced on Twitter that they will be revealing a new song at 8pm tonight (Thursday, 12 May). No further information about the release was revealed.
Rumours of a new single began circulating earlier this week when posters featuring their iconic lemon logo began popping up all over Manchester.
The band used a similar tactic last year, with mysterious lemon posters covering the city just days before they announced a string of live dates.
Earlier this year, the band were spotted recording in London, singer Ian Brown confirming they were working on a new album - their first since 1994’s Second Coming.

Recent reports have hinted the album may be released this June to coincide with their three headline shows at Manchester's Etihad Stadium.
The Stone Roses recently had to pull out of two shows in Japan after Reni broke his ribs in an 'accidental fall.’
Where the new music will debut (Spotify, Tidal etc) is anyone’s guess so stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated as and when we know.
