Taylor Swift’s latest music video has caused heads to turn, some critics outraged as the singer wore a skin-coloured suit, appearing almost nude.
Swift has since responded to the datable surrounding the video, writing on Instagram: “It truly warms my heart that people had so much to say about this bodysuit.”
She then added a laughing emoji along with further behind-the-scenes images from the shoot.
The video — directed by her longtime collaborator Joseph Kahn — is for the song “…Ready For It,” from the upcoming album Reputation.
Kahn called the video an "homage to anime”, sharing similarities with Ghost in the Shell.
The song is reportedly about Swift's latest boyfriend, British actor Joe Alwyn, who she has been dating since last year.
Swift was recently spotted filming a music video around London, one notable stopping point included Kentish Delight, a Kebab shop located in Kentish Town, North London.
There’s no word on which song Swift was filming the video for, but, considering the release of the single “Gorgeous”, we could see an accompanying music video for the tack soon.
Reputation — the singer’s sixth album, featuring the track “Gorgeous,” “…Ready For It?,” and “Look What You Made Me Do” — reaches stores 10 November.
