Major Lazer have teamed up with Justin Bieber and Danish singer MØ for a brand new single.
Titled "Cold Water," the track debuted last night following its online leak earlier this week; you can listen to it above. Musicians Benny Blanco and Ed Sheeran are credited as the song's writers.
Electronic music act Major Lazer are comprised of Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire; the former - a record producer - has previously teamed with both Bieber and MØ on Jack Ü track "Where Are Ü Now" and Major Lazer's very own "Lean On" respectively.
"Cold Water" is a relatively laid-back acoustic pop song compared to the more commercial sounding summer anthems currently doing the rounds. It bears a striking similarity to singles taken from Bieber's latest record Purpose - namely "Love Yourself" which was also written by Blanco and Sheeran.
Major Lazer will headline Bestival 2016 alongside The Cure, Hot Chip, Wiz Khalifa and Sean Paul. The event arrives at festival season's tail-end, taking place 8-11 September.
