Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

It's been nearly a year since McBusted united and took the UK by storm, with giant marble statues of Matt Willis being erected in every major city and the national anthem being officially changed to Crashed The Wedding, so it was only a matter of time before the rest of the late 90s/early 2000s pop groups reformed for their slice of arena sales.

S Club 7 appear to be the latest to dig out the strappy tops and cargo pants, with members Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole (last seen getting down on the floor) and Hannah Spearritt (last seen screaming out for more) tweeting a picture of themselves at an apparent S Club reunion today.

The rest of the band have been posting pictures from their glory days meanwhile, and Jo O'Meara tweeted a 'Keep Calm and Love S Club 7' poster (I know).

S Club opted to avoid ITV2's Big Reunion (which brought back Liberty X, A1 and more), but Rachel Stevens recently said that the idea of them getting back together is always "bubbling in the background".

Expect a nationwide tour and new album of more 'stripped back' material soon, possibly as some nightmarish hybrid called S Club Kitten or Blazin' Club 7.
