It’s the tail-end of the new year and most (if not all) of the best album and song lists have already been written for 2017.

However, that has not stopped Francis and the Lights who, with just two days to go until 2018, have released new music.

The band, which has collaborated with Kanye West, Drake, Chance The Rapper and Bon Iver, announced on Thursday via Twitter that he would be releasing an album on Friday.

Led by producer and songwriter Francis Farewell Starlite, Francis and the Lights released their sophomore record Just for Us Friday on Apple Music.

The full-length project is a follow-up to the group’s 2016 full-length debut Farewell, Starlite!, which was released on Francis’ website.

The latest 10 tracks are now available on Apple Music and they will appear on other streaming services soon.

For fans of Francis’ collaborations with West and Chance, Just for Us delivers melodic, futuristic pop embellished with hazy high-pitched vocals.
