Partygoers psyched for the bank holiday weekend will have a new track by Calvin Harris and Rihanna to dance to in the clubs.

The Scottish DJ has announced on his Twitter page that “This Is What You Came From” featuring the Barbadian singer will drop on Friday, an accompanying lightning bolt emoji promising electrifying things.

Harris and Rihanna last teamed up in 2011 for the hugely successful “We Found Love”, which reached number one around the world and appeared on the latter’s sixth album Talk That Talk. Harris also co-wrote and co-produced Rihanna’s song “Where Have You Been”, released that same year.

The hit songs rocketed Harris to international dance and pop music fame with festivals across the globe inviting him to headline. He is the highest-paid DJ in the world, earning a massive $66 million between August 2014 and August 2015.

Rihanna surprised fans by joining Harris on stage to close this year’s Coachella festival in California last weekend. The “Work” singer is set to play five gigs across the UK and Ireland this summer, kicking off at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on 21 June, while Harris returns to Scotland to headline T in the Park.
