50 Cent buys 200 tickets to Ja Rule show to stop others from sitting near the front

Ja Rule doesn't appear to be bothered by 50 Cent’s latest move in their ongoing feud – in fact, he's laughing about it.

Earlier this weekend, 50 Cent claimed he had bought 200 tickets – at a total of around $3,000 – for the fellow rapper’s upcoming show, so Ja Rule would be performing to a section of empty seats at the gig on 9 November in Texas.

Commenting under the post, Fiddy said: “I just bought 200 seats in the front so they can be empty. LOL.”

He also posted a photoshopped image depicting himself sitting in an empty concert venue.

“What a show, I mean just f***ing great. Do it again my kid went to the restroom. LOL,” he wrote in the caption directed at Ja Rule.

Ja Rule doesn’t seem too troubled, and even posted to say he was happy he’d got on 50 Cent’s nerves: “I get under @50cent skin….I love it!!!’ he wrote on Instagram, with several “amused face” emojis.

The pair’s feud originally stems back to the Noughties, but kicked off again in January this year.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, claims that Ja Rule, aka Jeffrey Atkins, incorrectly accused him of stealing his jewellery and brought it to the attention of Irv Gotti, the founder of Murder Inc. Records.

Ja Rule, however, contends that the tension started between them during a video shoot in their hometown of Queens, NYC.

Fiddy allegedly felt disrespected by the way Ja Rule greeted him on the shoot, which led to him releasing multiple diss records aimed at Ja Rule.

50 Cent is something of a liability on social media. In June, he shared then deleted a post mocking actor Terry Crews for speaking about male sexual assault.

Crews, a proud feminist and supporter of the #MeToo movement, recently explained why he did not fight back against the man he accused of sexually assaulting him.

While many people praised Crews for his moving testimony, rapper 50 Cent chose to mock the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star.

He posted a photo of Crews shirtless with the text: “I got raped / My wife just watched” and then another of Crews with a rose in his mouth which said “Gym time.”

He added the caption: “LOL what the f**k is going on out here man? Terry: I froze in fear... they would have had to take me to jail. Get the strap.”

The comments section was instantly flooded with former fans and critics calling 50 out, branding him “disgusting” and observing: “This is why people hate you.”

Asked for his thoughts on the comments by TMZ, Crews himself rose above it and simply said: “I love 50 Cent, I listen to his music when I'm working out.”
