From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. A first glimpse of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, the 3D biopic, was released online on October 26 to the delight of tween fans.

This upcoming musical documentary opens with home video of the singer as a toddler drumming and strumming a guitar to demonstrate the early budding talent of the teen idol.

What follows is a montage of quick-cut images with concert-goers cheering, backstage scenes and performances from summer concerts including one at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

This teaser preview includes interviews with R&B artist Usher, who discovered and mentored Bieber, intercut to tell the story of this small-town Canadian kid who became an overnight internet sensation and international pop star.

The film is directed by Jon Chu ( Step Up 2 and Step Up 3D), who came aboard the project just three months ago. It will be released February 11, 2011.
