Sir: The Chilean government's reaction to Pinochet's arrest does not represent the feelings of most people. You have seen images of thousands of people protesting in front of the British and Spanish embassies in Santiago. It is true that there are people that still support Pinochet in this country. They are the same people that honestly believe that Communists eat babies and rape nuns. But millions of others, like me, are embarrassed at the government's reaction, and at foreigners having to do what no one here has been brave enough to do.
