Sir: "Men of the Irish Republican Army march through the streets of Dublin in 1922 at the beginning of the civil war" (Letters Page picture, 2 February). They, at least, had the courage to march unmasked - unlike their "followers" of today with whom I suspect those of 1922 would find very little in common.
