The Belko Experiment trailer: Guardians of the Galaxy director’s new horror looks like Office Space meets Battle Royale
And yes, that is Perry from Scrubs
A change of pace between Guardians of the Galaxy Volumes 1 and 2, James Gunn has written and produced a horror thriller set in a drab office.
He unveiled the first trailer for The Belko Experiment in LA on Wednesday night, which sees 83 workers trapped in a high-rise office and told by a mysterious voice over the tannoy that they must kill three of their own else six will be executed.
It transpires that each employee was chipped when they started working there, and that chip - lodged in their head - can be remotely detonated.
Things only get worse, with the voice later telling them they must kill 30 or 60 will die, and it basically looks to be an exploration of the trolley problem.
Greg McLean (Wolf Creek) directed The Belko Experiment, which stars John Gallagher Jr., Tony Goldwyn, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, Adria Arjona, John C. McGinley and Melonie Diaz.
It’ll be out in cinemas 17 March, 2017.
