With the release date of Aquaman moving to 5 October 2018, the film’s previous release date another - 27 July 2018 - has been filled by a ‘currently untitled’ DC film.
Earlier this year, Warner Bros. CEO Jeff Bewkes revealed Affleck’s The Batman was “a year and a half out,” marking it for around March 2018.
The Flash will reach cinemas 16 March 2018, leaving the July date primed for the eventual release of The Batman. Expect an announcement soon enough.
Recently, Joe Manganiello - who will play villain Slade Wilson/Deathstroke in the film - spoke to ComicBookMovie about the film, saying: “When I met Ben we sat down and we talked about, you know, the role. We talked about the movie.
“His take is a fresh take but I think the audience is going to be surprised. Because it’s a road that no one’s really gone down that’s completely integral to, you know, who Batman is".
In other The Batman news, Affleck’s solo film was said to be in major trouble earlier this year after famed writer Bret Easton Ellis inadvertently hinted “there are serious problems with the script.”
