Riverdale fans are rejoicing after the arrival of new film Sightless  on Netflix in the UK.

The American psychological thriller film from writer and director Cooper Karl stars Madelaine Petsch as Ellen, a famous violinist who has been blinded in an anonymous attack.

After waking up in hospital, Ellen moves to a new assisted living apartment where she meets her new carer, Clayton, and begins to adjust to her new life.

As the story unfolds, however, she begins to grow suspicious about her surroundings and the circumstances of her attack.

It soon becomes apparent that nothing is as it seems, and she is forced to rely on her own instincts.

The movie was originally released digitally in the US last year, but has finally found its way to UK audiences.

Petsch is best-known for her starring role in The CW’s hit series Riverdale, in which she stars as Cheryl Blossom.

Also starring in Sightless is Alexander Koch, as Clayton. He previously had a role across three episodes of Lucifer in season five, in 2020, as the boyfriend of lead character Ella Lopez.

Sightless is available to watch on Netflix now.
