From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. There were quite a few things wrong with Batman v Superman, but - in fairness to costume designer Michael Wilkinson - Ben Affleck's Batsuit wasn't one of them.
This hasn't prevented the Caped Crusader from getting a costume makeover for the next film he'll appear in, DC superhero mash-up Justice League.
A brand new look at the Tactical Batsuit has been provided by director Zack Snyder on what was the final day of Affleck having to wear it on-set.
The suit, created by Wilkinson, bears more armour and will appear towards the end of the film after Batman realises he needs to up his game if he's to fight beings with genuine superpowers.
Batman's ordinary suit has seen a colour upgrade being changed from black to grey; you can see that here.
It was recently announced that the standalone Batman film will see the caped crusader face Deathstroke who'll be played by Magic Mike actor Joe Manganiello.
Justice League will also star Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa; it'll be released 17 November 2017.
