Harry Potter: All eight films have been condensed into one 90-minute movie

There's no point even trying to pretend that the release of Fantastic Beasts has renewed people's interest in Harry Potter - it's pretty much certain that J.K. Rowling's wizarding world will remain in the forefront of people's imaginations for generations to come.

Which is probably why one fan has taken it upon themselves to condense all eight films into one 90-minute film.

of course, if you want to experience the Harry Potter franchise, go and watch the whole lot (like one of our very own writers did in one go) but this is certainly convenient for those who don't have 1140 minutes plus to spend tracking Potter's rise from Hogwarts newbie to a leader in the war against Voldemort (especially for those who don't like film two or three - they've almost entirely been given the chop).

The fan in question is Tim Stiefler who has named his work Wizardhood in reference to Richard Linklater's 12-year opus Boyhood.

Upon its release earlier this month, Harry Potter prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them became the UK's fastest-selling film of 2016. It stars Eddie Redmayne as magizoologist Newt Scamander who, following rumours the character would be sidelined in the franchise's future films, Rowling revealed would be the lead in its first sequel.
