With the Deadpool sequel currently filming, news regarding the upcoming R-Rated film has been hitting the Internet with increased frequency.
Recently, the character’s creator, Rob Leifield, compared the pairing of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Josh Brolin’s Cable to the film Rush Hour.
Now, Reynolds has offered the world a first look at Atlanta actor Zazie Beetz character Domino, a mutant with ‘probability-altering powers’.
“Some people just know how to work a red carpet,” Reynolds captioned the photo, which sees Domino lying atop Deadpool, reminiscent of a photograph used to publicise the first film (itself a spoof of a famous Burt Reynolds photograph ).
In other Deadpool news, Shioli Kutsuna joined the film’s cast in an undisclosed ‘key role’, with Jack Kesy also being cast as an unknown character along with Hunt for the Wilderpeople ’s Julian Dennison .
Meanwhile, details regarding X-Men: Dark Phoenix — the next instalment in the main series X-Men films — have been announced, including the return of Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy, along with the rumoured casting of Jessica Chastain.
