What with all the Game of Thrones and Twin Peaks hype this summer, it's easy to forget that a brand new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm will follow these shows.

The long-awaited, almost-never-happened ninth season arrives on HBO and Sky Atlantic (TBC) in October, and there was a panel for it at the Television Critics Association event this week.

Bryan Cranston, Nick Offerman, Jimmy Kimmel and Elizabeth Banks were confirmed by HBO to be among its guest stars, though there was no word on whether they'll play themselves a la Ben Stiller, John McEnroe or fictional characters a la Vivica A. Fox, Dustin Hoffman.

Long-serving cast members Cheryl Hines, J.B. Smoove, and Jeff Garlin have been confirmed for a return, alongside Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen.

Elsewhere during the panel, Larry David stunned the audience by confirming that he has discovered he's related to Bernie Sanders.
