Cuba Gooding Jr is considering turning himself into police following an allegation he groped a woman during a night out in New York.
His lawyer Mark Heller revealed the Oscar-winning actor is prepared to face a charge after being accused of grabbing a 29-year-old woman's breast around 11.15pm at Manhattan's Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge last weekend.
Gooding Jr, who told TMZ he was present at the venue, denies the allegation. According to Heller, he was planning on handing himself in until they viewed video surveillance, which he claims shows "absolutely no criminality taking place".
If the Jerry Maguire star is to hand himself over to the NYPD special victims unit, he'll go to court for an arraignment.
"I trust the system and will let the process speak for itself," Gooding said. "There's a tape that shows what really happened and that's the most important thing – let's not take away from that."
Another video from the evening has been posted on Twitter. It shows Gooding Jr posing for pictures with fans in the New York locale.
Gooding Jr's credits include Boyz N the Hood, Rat Race and The People v OJ Simpson, for which he was nominated for an Emmy.
