From Boyhood to Reservoir Dogs, Whiplash to Little Miss Sunshine; Sundance has ushered in some of the most unique, fascinating films over the past few years, and this year will hopefully prove no different.
The line-up sees the return of the usual US Competition, World Competition and NEXT categories; alongside the introduction of New Climate, which will showcase stories and conversations based around the environment and climate change. stories and conversations based around the environment and climate change.

Sundance can also be an early look-in to some of the films which will later crop up, roughly a year later, during the monstrous hype of awards season; Manchester by the Sea had its very first screening at Sundance last year, before Casey Affleck became a frontrunner for the Best Actor Oscar.
