COMPETITION DETAILS No 218

In which painting by which artist can you find this hanging?

The solution and winners for each DETAILS competition are now being published two weeks after the clue. Last week's answer will therefore be given next week.

Today we reveal the solution to DETAILS 216. It came from Primitive Hunt, one of Piero di Cosimo's scenes from the life of early man, which is in the Met-ropolitan Museum, New York. The first three correct entries drawn were from: J Alton, of Royston, Hertfordshire; Alison James, of Rye, East Sussex; and John Wright, of Manchester.
