This April, the English National Opera travels to the Barbican to present Sunken Garden, the latest work from award-winning composer, director and film-maker Michel van der Aa, with a libretto by Cloud Atlas novelist David Mitchell.

Sunken Garden tells the story of a missing person and those who are searching for him… what connects the disappearance of a software engineer, a glamorous young socialite, a neurotic film-maker and a gullible patroness of the arts? Each shares a dream of a ‘walled garden’ between life and death in which there is no guilt or grief. Might this place be real? And what is the cost of cheating mortality?

The Independent has 10 pairs of tickets to the performance on Saturday 13 April to give away. All you have to do to enter is fill your details in below.

2013 Winner of the prestigious Grawemeyer Award for Music Composition, Van der Aa is renowned for his ability to combine music, text and visual images. Casting for this innovative new production includes Roderick Williams, Katherine Manley, Claron McFadden, Jonathan McGovern and Kate Miller-Heidke.
