Discover AlUla: A journey through time in numbers
Take a look at Saudi Arabia’s 15 year Masterplan in numbers
Deep in the desert landscape of north west Saudia Arabia, AlUla is in the midst of an ambitious transformation to become a living museum that will be the envy of the world.
The 15-year Journey Through Time Masterplan for the developments has sustainability built into its core.
Through it, five distinct districts will be created, showcasing five breathtaking heritage sites. These will be connected via a 20km public realm known as the Wadi of Hospitality.
Fifteen cultural assets will be built by 2035 to enhance tourists and visitors’ understanding and appreciation of this ancient landscape.
There will be 5,000 additional hospitality keys, divided across luxury hotels, eco-resorts, RV parks and more to accommodate around 2million visitors a year.
And the entire project will create 38,000 jobs and generate SAR 120 billion towards the country’s GDP as part of a diversified multi-sector economy.
