Anna Richards is a freelance travel and outdoor writer living in Lyon. She started writing for IndyTravel in early 2022, and has also contributed to IndyVoices. She has written a number of city guides for IndyTravel and commits herself fully to the difficult task of testing restaurants and wine bars. When she’s not mixing her social life with essential research, she can be found on disproportionately long hiking trips in the mountains (or occasionally rolling ungainly down a ski slope). Her work has also been featured in Lonely Planet, The BBC, Suitcase and The Telegraph, among other publications.
