What are the Earthmark ratings?
Earthmark ratings are measured from 1-5 based on the following principles: transparency, recent data, environmental relevance and relativity. The lowest-scoring brands are operating business as usual with little regard to environmental impact. Whilst the highest-scoring brands are proactively making positive impacts.
Why are Earthmarks important?
Earthmark ratings help us to understand the environmental impact that retailers have. Choosing stores that are making positive changes to become more eco-friendly is an easy way to make a difference.
