THE LOOK AND FEEL

The décor is sleek and modern and minimalist, and the hotel's amazing history of having so many music stars staying over the years is reflected in the music-orientated art throughout the hotel. Guest room balconies are now glass-enclosed sunrooms, as apparently guests would sometimes emulate rock stars throwing televisions from them, as Keith Richards famously did from room 1015; The Who's Keith Moon reportedly also did so.

THE FACILITIES

Complimentary coffee, pastries and snacks are available in the lobby lounge, as well as a complimentary wine hour between 5.30-6.30 pm every day. There's a fitness room open 24 hours with cardio equipment, Peloton bikes, free weights, yoga mats and more.

The Riot House Restaurant and Bar (a nod to when the hotel was infamously known as the 'Riot Hyatt') features a swish long bar adjacent to a row of tables looking out onto Sunset Strip. There's also a poolside cocktail bar.
