THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
In the Hivernage district on Boulevard de la Menara, the resort fills a 40-acre site that includes villas and residences. It is so large guests are ferried around by golf cart, and there's a 1.24-mile internal jogging circuit. Transfers to or from the airport and medina take ten minutes and there is free parking. Visit nearby Menara Gardens, a free-entry public park lined with olive trees. M-Avenue, on Avenue de la Menara, is a parade of high-end stores and restaurants that includes the Marrakech-themed immersive experience Meydene.
By plane: direct flights from London to Marrakech Menara take around 4 hours. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the airport. Free parking on-site. Book flights to Marrakech.
THE LOOK AND FEEL
This is a safe and leafy urban sanctuary with delightful Moorish gardens, birdsong and attentive, smartly-uniformed staff. Arriving guests are greeted by musicians in traditional dress and an offer of mint tea; public areas are radiant with plush furniture, decorative lamps, exquisite Moroccan crafts and fabulous flower displays.
THE FACILITIES
The resort has seven 'work at leisure' locations around the grounds and there's also a business centre. Sports facilities include two floodlit tennis courts and a fitness centre open 24/7. The well-drilled Four Seasons staff are courteous and efficient and there's a concierge desk that can arrange excursions.
