THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Located in the attractive market town of Beaconsfield, just off the M40 or a 30-minute train ride from London Marylebone.

By car: 45 minutes from Oxford, under an hour from London and under 2 hours from Bristol and Birmingham. Free parking on-site.

By train: London Marylebone to Beaconsfield takes 25 minutes. The hotel is a 5-minute drive (or 20-minute walk) from the station. Book trains to Beaconsfield.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

The Crazy Bear is bling on steroids: its fabulously ornate cocktail bar, restaurant and lounge area on the ground floor is reminiscent of a plush, vulgar nightclub. Mini-chandeliers, patterned leather walls and ceiling panels, green marble flooring, numerous stuffed animals and crushed velvet ceilings all come together to create an unforgettable, over-the-top vibe.

English Restaurant: seasonal menus, small plates, prime cuts and signature mains. Open daily, 7am-10pm.

Thai Restaurant: seasonal à la carte menu and sharing plates. Open daily for dinner, Fri-Sun for lunch. Sharing menu from £34.
