OUR REVIEW

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Right in the centre of town, at the top of the tree-lined Paseo del Borne and on the corner of Carrer de Sant Feliu, with its leading galleries and boutiques, you can't get a better location if you want to hit the shops. It's just a ten-minute walk to the cathedral and palace, and the major luxury brands and high-street names are just a saunter away.

By plane: there are direct flights from London (2 hours 25 mins), Manchester (2 hours 40 mins) and Edinburgh (3 hours). The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Palma de Mallorca airport. Paid parking is available for €34 per day. Book trains to Mallorca.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

The lofty stone arch of the original 17th-century family house makes a grand entrance when you arrive at reception, which is decorated with a contemporary glass chandelier and an enormous piece of Catalonian art. Upstairs in the bar and restaurant, photo-real panels form a backdrop to comfortable sofas.

THE FACILITIES

Staff are super friendly and enthusiastic about the hotel and are swift to bring drinks to the resident's roof terrace, where you'll find sofas, loungers and a refreshing plunge pool and views across the city to the cathedral. A tiny tower terrace the next level up can be reserved for massages or private dining.
