Your support makes all the difference.Scotland revived their Rugby World Cup campaign with a 34-0 victory over Samoa on Monday, scoring four tries in a much-improved performance to secure a bonus point that could prove crucial in a tight Pool A.
Japan's stunning upset of Ireland on Saturday shattered the expected permutations of the pool and the Scots knew they needed to get a big win on the board after their dismal defeat to the Irish in their opener.
Winger Sean Maitland and scrumhalf Greig Laidlaw scored converted tries with Stuart Hogg landing a 40-metre drop goal in the first half, while two penalty tries after the break secured the all-important extra point.

Prediction
Scotland 25-20 Samoa: Scotland should deliver something of a response to last week’s shocker against Ireland, and the nine days’ rest will have helped compared to Samoa’s week-turnaround. However, results between these two sides tend to be tight, and on the grand occasion of a World Cup clash, this should be no different.
63 min: Scotland 27-0 Samoa
Samoa make a hash of the throw and Scotland immediately seize back possession. They come forward in waves, their forwards pressing the Pacific Islanders back into their own dead-ball area as the Scots set up camp under the posts. But it's knocked on! In the forwards' attempts to edge over, play is fumbled forward. Samoa scrum.
65 min: Scotland 27-0 Samoa
Greg Laidlaw makes way for George Horne at 9 after what has been an impressive performance. Horne is called straight into action for the put-in at the scrum on Samoa's 22. Scotland proving relentless at the moment.
67 min: Scotland 27-0 Samoa
Some respite for Samoa as Zandedr Fagerson is penalised for not releasing after making contact away from the support of his teammates. The Samoans find touch on the right flank, just inside Scotland's half.
68 min: Scotland 27-0 Samoa
Samoa go through the motions as they work possession from right to left but their progress is stunted by another knock-on. Poor handling has completely blunted their attacking play here in Kobe.
70 min: Scotland 27-0 Samoa
We enter the final 10 minutes as Scotland take play left from their own scrum. The Scots surge forward up to the 10-metre line but are penalised at the breakdown for being off their feet. Ulupano Seuteni puts in a huge clearance to set up a Samoa line-out a few metres back from Scotland's 22.
74 min: Scotland 27-0 Samoa
Substitute Pele Cowley, on at nine, has injected a bit of energy into his side. Samoa are deep into Scotland's 22 and showing impressive ball retention in the face of the Dark Blues' fierce defensive efforts.
They get the penalty for an infringement at the breakdown and line up to make the kick in the corner. But deary me. Ulupano Seuteni's effort went the wrong side of the corner flag and we go forward for a Scottish restart. What a waste!
75 min: Scotland 27-0 Samoa
Try for Scotland!? Sean Maitland was on the receiving end of a fluid, slick passage of play down the left, sliding in for the corner from a good few yards out. It looks like the Scottish wing, under the challenge of Ed Fidow's sliding tackle, lost control of the ball before the line. We go to TMO...
75 min: Scotland 34-0 Samoa (Penalty try)
It's another penalty try! Ed Fidow's tackle, in which he led with his knees, was judged to be illegal. He's shown a second yellow of the match and dismissed for good while Scotland are awarded the score.
77 min: Scotland 34-0 Samoa
Fraser Brown makes the break through the centre of Samoa's defence but his attempted offload is intercepted by Tim Nanai-Williams. Scotland still pushing to their credit. A much-needed performance this after the humiliation against Ireland.
