From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Hi-Jacked...

Porto's Jackson Martinez, the Arsenal and Liverpool target, has set his sights on a move to Tottenham next summer, according to the Daily Express.

The report claims that the Colombian striker could be available for £27.5m due to a release clause in his contract.

Hugo loss...

Roma want to purchase Spurs' goalkeeper Hugo Lloris this month, but will not meet the club's €30m (£22.5m) asking price, according to reports in Italy.

The 28-year-old Frenchman is the club's current vice captain, and has excelled this season at White Hart Lane. He signed for £12m from Lyon in 2012.

On the way out...

Hull City have made an inquiry for winger Aaron Lennon, with the Steve Bruce's side hoping to take him on loan for the remainder of the season, according to the Telegraph.

Lennon has only made three Premier League starts for Spurs this season.

Everton are also interested in the 27-year-old.
