Barcelona coach Luis Enrique says he is desperate for Manchester United target Pedro's future to be resolved soon, and "the damned transfer window" to close.

The transfer window shuts on 1 September.

Winger Pedro has been linked with a move to Old Trafford all summer, with the latest reports stating that United chief executive Ed Woodward has headed to Spain to complete the move.

The Daily Mail report that Woodward flew to Barcelona before last night's Super Cup second-leg draw against Athletic Bilbao to undergo more negotiations with the Spanish club.

Having won the first leg 4-0, Bilbao secured the Super Cup 5-1 on aggregate after the match ended 1-1 at the Nou Camp.

Enrique said after last night's game that he hopes the situation is resolved soon.

"It's a difficult situation, it's hard to be focused," Enrique said.

"I am just hoping that this damned transfer window closes once and for all to know which players I can count on. But Pedro gave his all."
