From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Elneny goes for goal from the edge of the box, following a poor clearance from Cook. It's high and wide, but it's enough to excite the Arsenal fans.

An Arsenal attack fizzles out in the box, as Sanchez stands 'statue like' with the ball at his feet. The sea of blue shirts in front of him, 10 to be precise, led the attack to an early end for The Gunners.

An Ozil corner again meets the head of Ake. The Dutch defender has done well so far today, particularly as an aerial threat.

Elneny links up well with Walcott down the right hand side, but his attempt to cross the ball is almost comical. He slices it and flies out of play for a goal kick.

Bournemouth need to step it up a gear, as Arsenal appear to have regained control.

Sanchez picks up the ball in the box and he fires the ball at goal with pace, but he is denied by the woodwork.

What a strike. He's been fantastic so far today.

HALF TIME

An error from Cook gave Arsenal the early advantage, but a penalty from Wilson equalised for The Cherries and in terms of performances, the visitors have certainly earned their half time draw.

Howe's men have worked hard, attacked with menace and defended bravely. He will be hoping for more of the same in the second half. However, they may have to sharpen up their marking as Sanchez is looking incredibly dangerous when he's in possession.
