Redmond finds Bertrand's overlapping run down the left-hand side and the delivery into the box is dealt with by Boruc. They need to do be more clinical in front of goal if they want to deny Bournemouth any opportunity for a comeback.

Bournemouth slowly progress into the Southampton half, with Cook finding Francis on the right. The 31-year-old then delivers the ball into the box and Bertrand appears to take the ball down with his arm. A roar from the home fans is not enough to persuade the referee - play on.

Another mistake from Hojbjerg gives Bournemouth a free-kick just outside of the penalty area. He clumsily clashes into Wilshire in an unnecessary challenge.

The 21-year-old has been seriously under-par today after giving away possession and fouls on several occasions.

The free kick goes short and is wasted.

Yellow card: Clasie receives a booking for a collision with Wilshire.

GOAL

BOURNEMOUTH 1 - 3 SOUTHAMPTON

Rodriguez has doubled his tally and it is a technically terrific finish. Redmond is tackled on the edge of the box and the ball bounces just right for the goal scorer and he volleys home his sides third of the afternoon. It's a tremendous example of his individual ability that leaves Boruc helpless.

Cedric has gone to ground following a clash inside of his own penalty area. It looks although it could be an injury to the ankle/achilles area. He is currently receiving treatment on the pitch.
