Carlo Ancelotti is expecting a tough game against the Premier League champions. He said:
Everton should have their best chance of winning the derby today for ages.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored nine goals in six appearances for the Toffees in all competitions this season. No player in Europe's elite five divisions has scored more.
He could become the first Everton player to score in his opening five league games since Tommy Lawton in 1938-39.
Behind him, new signing James Rodriguez has contributed to six goals in his five games in all competitions. He has three goals and three assists.
KLOPP PRAISES ANCELOTTI
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti saying he is the 'next challenger in line’.
Klopp believes Ancelotti has improved Everton with his signings this summer and that is being reflected on the pitch.
He told BBC Football Focus:
"What I think about Carlo Ancelotti was never a secret. I couldn't respect him more. He's a wonderful human being,
"When I heard he was going to sign for Everton I thought 'Uhhh, the next proper challenger in line'.
"They did the perfect business in the summer. They found exactly the players that they needed to improve an already pretty good football team.
"Together, getting more used to what Carlo wants them to do makes them a pretty strong team."
Everton are looking to continue their winning start to the season but they face their hardest test yet in Liverpool.

Liverpool are on a club record run of 22 unbeaten matches in all competitions versus Everton with 11 wins and 11 draws.
Everton last defeated Liverpool in the Premier League 10 years in a 2-0 home victory in October 2010. Since then they are winless in the 19 league meetings with 11 draws and eight losses.
Seven of the past eight league derbies at Goodison Park have ended in draws with Liverpool winning the other match.
The last three derbies hosted by Everton have finished goalless.
