Leeds United vs Aston Villa
We go to the break with the scoreline 1-0 to the visitors, a lead that they thoroughly deserve having been the better team in that first half. They had the better of the chances early on but just couldn't quite create anything clear-cut. That was the case until the 22nd minute, when a cross from Digne that Watkins just failed to reach ended up with Cash on the far side, who laid it back to Coutinho. The former Barcelona man shot first time, and his deflected effort hit Struijk before nestling in the back of the net. They had chances to double their lead before the break, with Luiz going close with a free-kick before Meslier made a quality save to push a McGinn curler past the post. The hosts held out though, and Villa take a one goal advantage into the interval.
