Follow live coverage as Fulham face Arsenal today in the Premier League. Another top-flight season will be covered in full right here with The Independent, as reigning champions Manchester City look to make it an unprecedented five titles in a row come the end of 2024/25.

The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool will be chasing Pep Guardiola's side, but just as fascinating will be the race for Champions League places, with more teams than ever before having designs on top-four finishes. Chelsea remain big-spending, Manchester United's latest rebuild continues and both Tottenham and Newcastle will expect improvements this year - yet it was Aston Villa who snared fourth last term.

Meanwhile, it's Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town who made it back to the elite after promotion last year and each will have hope they can make it more than a one-year stay. Follow the latest live action from the Premier League below:

Fulham vs Arsenal

Fulham ripped up the script in the first half, and that's reflected in our live win probability tracker, with the hosts now rated at a 47.8% chance of victory and Arsenal down on just 22.3% themselves. It's still all to play for in the second period though, as Smith Rowe gets the game back underway.

Rice has been one of Arsenal's key players at both ends so far, having two of their best chances to restore parity to the scoreline in the first half. The England midfielder has had two touches in the box and two shots, as well as creating a chance with one of eight final-third passes. He's also turned possession over three times, including once in the final third, putting in a tackle and interception apiece as he tries to drag the Gunners back into this game.

There's the half-time whistle at Craven Cottage, and against the run of play it's the hosts Fulham who lead Arsenal 1-0 at the break! For all their dominance of possession and territory, the Gunners have only been able to muster 0.59 xG, seeing efforts from Saliba and Rice put wide before Saka forced a save from Leno with their only shot on target. Fulham, meanwhile, hit the visitors early on the break, as Jimenez raced clear to find the far corner after just 11 minutes and give the hosts a shock lead. Their 0.03 xG has been good enough so far, and it's Arsenal who have it all to do if they want to turn things around in the second half.

We're into a solitary minute of added time at the end of a first half which hasn't exactly gone to plan for Arsenal thus far.

Berge is caught in possession by Rice on halfway but then recovers brilliantly to slide in brilliantly to win the ball back from Odegaard, but the Arsenal captain staying down on the deck will be a huge concern for Mikel Arteta.

Fulham vs Arsenal

Arsenal failed to win either of their Premier League meetings with Fulham last season – only between May 2011 and November 2012 (four matches) have they had a longer winless run against the Cottagers in their league history.

Partey and Odegaard link up well in a tight space on the byline, but the Arsenal captain's eventual ball into the box is an easy one for Leno to claim.

CHANCE! Saka's dangerous cross into the middle is swung low towards the far post, where Rice is sliding in at full stretch but can't quite get on the end of it!
