Follow live coverage as Fulham face Arsenal today in the Premier League. Another top-flight season will be covered in full right here with The Independent, as reigning champions Manchester City look to make it an unprecedented five titles in a row come the end of 2024/25.
The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool will be chasing Pep Guardiola's side, but just as fascinating will be the race for Champions League places, with more teams than ever before having designs on top-four finishes. Chelsea remain big-spending, Manchester United's latest rebuild continues and both Tottenham and Newcastle will expect improvements this year - yet it was Aston Villa who snared fourth last term.

Fulham vs Arsenal
There's the full-time whistle, and once again Arsenal are unable to find a way past Fulham, and their three-game winning run comes to an end with a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage! The hosts hardly troubled Arsenal in the second half, generating just 0.14 xG with a Pereira shot which was easily dealt with by Raya. At the other end, Fulham did all they could to cling onto their 1-0 first-half lead, but were pegged back seven minutes into the second half by Saliba's close-range finish from a well-worked corner routine. The Gunners generated 1.93 xG of their own and saw Trossard, Havertz, Partey and Rice all go close to grabbing the winner. Saka thought he'd done exactly that two minutes from time as he headed in Martinelli's cross at the far post, but VAR intervened to spot an offside in the build-up and consign the Gunners to just a point rather than the three they came for! That sends Arsenal up to second in the table, albeit having played a game more than the sides around them and still six points behind Liverpool, while other results see Fulham drop to 10th, having looked at half-time like they were destined for the dizzy heights of fifth in the Premier League.

With time running out, Martinelli darts to the byline and hangs up a cross over the top. No-one in an Arsenal shirt can get there until Partey collects the ball on the far side, but after he plays Saka down the line again, the would-be goalscorer can only drill his cutback into Leno's gloves!

Arsenal win another free-kick on the left-hand side and Rice stands over it again, but this delivery is wildly overhit and resembles more of a shot as it sails wide!

We're into the first of five added minutes at Craven Cottage, and will that be enough time for a late twist in the tale?
Fulham vs Arsenal
NO GOAL!!! Saka and Arsenal are denied!! The England man's far-post run and finish are given the green light, but it's Martinelli, the assister, who is marginally offside in the build-up to his cross and the goal is chalked off. Can the Gunners respond to find a later winner here?
Fulham vs Arsenal
BALL IN THE NET!!! Might that be the winner for Arsenal? Martinelli is found out on the left and drives forward before standing up Wilson and crossing. The ball flashes right across the face of goal, and it's Saka who steals in at the far post to head beyond a scrambling Leno and in! The players wheel away to celebrate right in front of the away end, but VAR have had a word in the ear...
