From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

mins: Arsenal have been terrible defending corners today, and it's finally caught them out. The ball is floated in from the right and Lucas Moura peels away at the back post. Jenkinson has lost his man, and the header glances off Iwobi's head and into the back of the net.
mins: Cavani is through on goal after a debatable offside call. He's one-on-one with Ospina, and tries to chip the ball over his head. It's not a great effort though and the Colombian leaps up and catches it. Arsenal need a goal here, and Wenger sends on Xhaka, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain to beef up his attack.
mins: The home fans fume when Ramsey is tackled on the edge of the area but it allows PSG to attack. Lucas is down the right, and his cross is a beauty. Cavani is there to glance it in...but he's missed! How did he not score that?!
mins: Arsenal are beginning to get desperate and look exposed at the back as a result. Ozil makes a neat break down the left though and shows a rare turn of pace, but Meunier marshals him well and wins the ball. Ramsey concedes a fairly innocuous foul for a shirt pull that isn't there, and PSG are looking to slow the game down unsurprisingly.
mins: Mustafi is nearly caught out by a high ball as he misses his attempted clearance, but Cavani is content to play is back rather than surge forward. Arsenal are running out of time here, and while a 2-2 draw won't kill their chances of top spot completely, they will have to rely on Ludogorets going to Paris to get a result.
mins: Oxlade-Chamberlain does brilliantly to get around Matuidi and his cross for Giroud has echoes of last Saturday afternoon, only this time it doesn't come off. PSG try to break, but it comes to nothing.
mins: We'll have 3 minutes of injury time for Arsenal to find a crucial winner.
+1 mins: Jese, just on for Lucas, is played in by Verratti and it takes a good block from Koscielny to stop the block. Still, this is time off the clock.
