41 mins: This is better from Arsenal as they manage to sustain some pressure, and Ramsey has another shout for a penalty when his high ball hits Matuidi and he appeals for handball. Nothing in that one though, and PSG clear the danger.
42 mins: Jenkinson's not having a great time of it out there, and having been replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Old Trafford on Saturday, you do wonder how long he'll last tonight. He's played in on the right by Ozil, but looks unsure whether to shoot or cross and in the end does neither.
45 mins +1: A frantic finish to the half sees Arsenal head in level at 1-1. Brilliant play from Ozil saw the midfielder faint to shoot, only to play a delightful ball inside to Sanchez. He cut back onto his left foot but goes to ground as Maxwell dives in, and whether there is contact I'm not too sure. The referee pauses, and points to the spot.
There's then a clash between Cavani and Ramsey as the Uruguay striker takes away the ball, and appears to hit Ramsey in the face with a cross between a slap and and open-hand jab The referee intervenes, but takes no action and Olivier Giroud steps up to convert from the penalty spot as he sends Areola the wrong way. 1-1.
Half-time: Right, pick the bones out of that one. My gut feeling was that the penalty was soft, but from where we're sitting it's difficult to see if there was complete contact or not. The Cavani/Ramsey incident was also a bit clearer, and while Cavani did make contact with Ramsey's face, I think it would've been a harsh red. probably worth a caution though.
Half-time: There's not doubting though, Arsenal were poor and only that late pressure saw them head in level. Anyway, we're ready to go now for the second half.
46 mins: No changes to report so it's as you were for both sides.
