The game is goalless at the break after an opening 45 minutes of few chances at Selhurst Park. The hosts came closest with Wolves nearly the architects of their own downfall, as Sa woefully underhit a pass to Lemina. Lerma stole in before squaring for Ayew, who looked set to fire Palace in front, only for Kilman to get back and make a heroic block to save a certain goal. Neto looked threatening for the visitors, who shaded the first half without really troubling Johnstone between the hosts' sticks.

SHOOT! Wolves work the ball really nicely down the left with a clever flick looking to have set Neto up to fire at goal, but he tries one pass too many and Palace get bodies in the way to clear.

Cunha looks as if he will nod Neto's cross from the left towards goal, but there is no shout for Dawson in front of him to leave it, and the former West Ham man gets to it first, skimming a header away from danger, much to Cunha's frustration.
