Everton move out of the relegation zone after a counter-attacking masterclass saw them dismantle Brighton on their way to a 5-1 away victory. Dyche's side had only one victory on the road all campaign but found themselves ahead after just 34 seconds when Doucoure swept home Calvert-Lewin's cross. The midfielder added another before Steele's own goal left Brighton 3-0 down at half-time. Brighton continued to press forward after the break but McNeil would add a fourth on the break with a superb solo effort. Mac Allister scored as Brighton finally breached Everton's net after several superb saves from Pickford but the away side weren't done as McNeil added a fifth with a superb left-footed strike in the final minute of added time.
