Arsenal move into second place in the Premier League and are just one point behind leaders Manchester City, who lost against Wolves. They will be looking to continue their strong start to the season when they go to Lens in the Champions League before hosting Manchester City on the weekend. As for Bournemouth, they are now in the relegation zone. They travel to Everton for their next match.

Arsenal secured their fifth Premier League win of the season with a comfortable win over Bournemouth. Odegaard was the architect of the opener, finding Jesus with a fantastic cross from the left. His header crashed the post, with the rebound going to Saka, who headed in from close range. The Gunners' second came from the penalty spot after Nketiah was fouled in the box by Aarons. Odegaard took responsibility and rolled his spot-kick into the bottom corner. Arteta's side then added a third soon after the restart. Christie was punished for a late tackle in the box on Odegaard, with Havertz stepping up to score his first goal for Arsenal. Jesus then went close to adding a third after driving into the box from the right, but he blasted his attempt across the goal and wide of the post. Neto then denied Smith Rowe a goal off the bench before White scored a fourth. The defender got on the end of Odegaard's free-kick and flicked his header into the net.

SAVE! Neto stops Smith Rowe for a second time. Jesus is unselfish on the edge of the box and pokes a pass across to Smith Rowe, who blasts a shot towards the goal. Neto is equal to it and pushes his attempt wide.

SAVE! What a chance for Smith Rowe. Jesus makes the most of a poor touch from Zabarnyi and drives towards the box. He is pulled back by Senesi, but the referee allows the game to continue with Arsenal in possession. Nelson pokes it through to Smith Rowe, who has his low attempt saved by Neto.
