After Aston Villa picked up seven points from their three previous Premier League matches, a 2-1 defeat to title hopefuls Liverpool on Tuesday leaves today's hosts sitting 12th in the table ahead of their final three games. The first of back-to-back home outings - after Palace, they welcome Burnley to Birmingham - sees Villa meet a team they beat 2-1 in November's reverse fixture at Selhurst Park. The Villans also recorded a 3-0 victory when the teams last convened at Villa Park, back in December 2020.
