Arsenal beat Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, putting three without reply past a Forest side who, prior to kick-off, were level on points with the Gunners and only behind in the table on goal difference.

In truth it was never as close during the 90 minutes, with Jurrien Timber seeing a fourth-minute strike ruled out and the visitors barely laying a glove on Arsenal throughout thereafter. Bukayo Saka’s strike did count to give the hosts the lead in the opening quarter of an hour, with the same player then teeing up Thomas Partey’s long-range goal after half-time.

Ethan Nwaneri then came off the bench to net his first top-flight goal and give Arsenal a comfortable return to winning ways, following four straight matches in the league without victory. Follow the latest team news and all the live action below:
