A spokeswoman for her model agency Storm said: "Kate is in excellent spirits and looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank everyone for their messages of support as they have played a major part in helping her."
Moss, who features in the Pirelli calendar released next month, is spending time with friends in America before returning to work. She has jobs lined up in Los Angeles, Paris and New York over the next month.
Moss is also reported to have ended her tempestuous relationship with musician, and self-confessed crack addict, Pete Doherty.
The Croydon-born model will be reunited with her three-year-old daughter Lila in the next few days, whose birthday she missed because she was in the clinic. Lila's father, the magazine publisher Jefferson Hack, is believed to have taken Lila to visit Moss in Arizona.
