FKI has agreed to sell its automotive group to Trident Automotive for pounds 92.5m cash. The company expects to net pounds 70m from the sale and will use the money to reduce borrowings. The disposed businesses comprise all of FKI's Automotive group except the Keeler Die Cast operation and the freehold of the land and buildings located at Kentwood Michigan, US.
