From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Between shooting schedules for the hit TV show Glee, the cast will set out to tour with live concert performances in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City's Radio City Music Hall, while songs by Madonna and Aerosmith will get the Glee treatment on the show itself.

At a recent television seminar, PaleyFest, in Los Angeles, cast members spoke to fans in the audience, revealing news on upcoming episodes when the show, which airs on the Fox network in the US, resumes, starting April 13.

"We are going to do an episode in the second season with all original music," show co-creator Ryan Murphy announced at the event. In addition, the second show of the new season, titled "Vogue," will be devoted to 10 Madonna songs.

Also, one of the episodes will include a Lady Gaga song, and Neil Patrick Harris, who opened up the Oscars, will be a guest star on Glee, performing an Aerosmith and a Billy Joel song."

Meanwhile, a "flashmob" event in a Madrid shopping mall to promote the show's debut on television in Spain included seemingly a "simultaneous" public dance performance to songs from the show, opening with Journey's classic "Don't Stop Believin'." To view it:
