I’ve been covering the Black Friday sales for the past eight years, here’s everything I’ve learned
The best Amazon Black Friday deals
Amazon kicked off its Black Friday week on 21 November and there are now a dizzying number of deals to browse. Daisy, our senior eCommerce writer, has collated all the deals worth knowing about.
As you might expect, Amazon has slashed the price of its own devices, from 40 per cent off Amazon Fire TV sticks (now £34.99, Amazon.co.uk) and 20 per cent off Kindles (now £124.99, Amazon.co.uk) to deals on the retailer’s Echo dot smart speakers, Ring doorbells and tablets. And, from Ninja to Shark, the sale is seeing discounts on some of our favourite brands, too.

Save on some of our favourite Hoka running shoes
If you’re after a pair of Hoka’s famously cushioned, comfortable running shoes, they’re on sale at various retailers. In our review of the best men’s running shoes, the Hoka clifton 9 were great for long, easy runs – and, with this discount, you’ll get nearly 20 per cent off the tried and tested runners.
Hoka clifton 9 men’s running shoes: Was 129.99, now £104, Footlocker.co.uk
When our reviewer took the Hoka clifton 9 shoes for a test run, they described it as lively and run, and great as a casual everyday shoe, too. They found that it provided “an ultra-cushioned ride that is perfect for racking up big miles”, while “the rocker profile makes for smooth heel-to-toe transitions”.
Tesco’s Black Friday sale is underway
It’s not just big brands and retailers jumping on the Black Friday bandwagon – supermarkets are too. Tesco is discounting electricals, drinks, toys and more. You can save on this bottle of Lagavulin whiskey (was £99, now £70, Tesco.com) a Gastroback coffee machine, (was £169.99, now £149.99, Tesco.com), this Tower air fryer (was £59.99, now £44.99, Tesco.com), and much more.
